Tizhe Bitrus

Tizhe Bitrus is a technology entrepreneur, systems architect, and strategic technology leader with over three decades of experience driving innovation in software development, network infrastructure, systems integration, and intelligence technology. His career reflects a consistent ability to anticipate technological shifts, build critical digital infrastructure, and translate complex technical challenges into practical solutions. His technology journey began in the mid-1990s with MS-DOS and QBasic programming, culminating in the development of his first Student Information System (SIS) software in 2000. In the late 1990s, he served as an IT consultant to the defunct Afri Bank, managing computer systems, legacy Ethernet networks, and satellite-based wide-area network services. He was also among the pioneering network engineers supporting the emergence of cybercafés across northeastern Nigeria in the early 2000s. In the mid-2000s, he joined the University of Jos as a Network and Server Administrator, where he built and expanded network infrastructure and server systems, strengthening the institution's digital capabilities. Driven by an entrepreneurial vision, he founded TIDANET TELECOMS in 2010, developing capabilities in enterprise networking, data centers, and systems integration. In 2017, he established JETRA LTD, expanding his work into advanced technology solutions and consulting for national security organizations. As the founder and strategic leader of JETRA LTD, Bitrus is driving the company's evolution from a network infrastructure and systems integration provider into a developer of advanced intelligence technology. His flagship initiative, JIFGAC (JETRA Intelligence Fusion & Geo-Analytics Center), is an AI-powered intelligence fusion and geo-analytics platform designed to integrate satellite imagery, geospatial intelligence, drone feeds, and real-time data into a unified command-and-control environment. His leadership is defined by long-term vision, technical execution, entrepreneurial resilience, and a commitment to building technology with strategic national impact. Through JETRA LTD and JIFGAC, he is pursuing a mission to strengthen national security, protect critical infrastructure, and save lives by transforming fragmented data into actionable intelligence that enables faster, smarter, and more effective decisions.
