Dr. Danladi Yusuf Salihu

Dr. Danladi Yusuf Salihu, PhD, MNSAP, is an Animal Scientist, researcher, academic administrator, agribusiness consultant, and livestock entrepreneur with expertise in animal production, animal nutrition, feed formulation, livestock management, animal products processing and hygiene, meat science, and agribusiness development. He holds a PhD in Animal Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and currently serves as Head of Department, Animal Production at the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Vom. He has also served in leadership roles including Pre-HND Coordinator and College Farm Manager. He is a participant of the Policy, Strategic and Leadership Course (PSLC) at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Cohort 55, strengthening his knowledge and experience in policy, strategic thinking, leadership, and national development. His professional interests include sustainable livestock production, animal products processing and hygiene, value-chain development, research and innovation, feed technology, agribusiness, policy, and collaboration between academia, industry, government, and the private sector. He is a member of the Nigerian Society for Animal Production (MNSAP) and has contributed to research publications and agricultural development initiatives.
